How large is the little island in which you have planted red astilbe, white phlox, goats beard, and the tall one is giant yellow columbine meadow rue? It looks to be no more than 6'x8'. Is that about right? Why did you choose larger plants to go in the bed and one might expect, given its size? Don't get me wrong; I love it. But I need to say something about issues like that in the book. I appreciate it.
