The last message in this thread is from 2012. Not sure if anyone is reading this. I am from Austin and have been gardening here for the past 20 years. Did not know about this forum till just now. Glad to be here! Anyone growing mandarin oranges in Austin? Advice for my scraggly 2 year old tree?

I tried to buy online and they all died. I would like to find a Texas source that has rooted pottings available.

Thank you for the reply.

Sorry, that they died. I kill so many plants that I should just grow artificial ones! If I find one, I will let you know. Are you a member of ETPS(East Texas Plant Swap)? They are active and maybe you can find one there?
