Live streaming wall to wall coverage of the hurricane from the 4 major networks (you can adjust the volume on the players to listen to one at a time):

They are saying that Galveston is going to be razed to the ground just like during the 1900 hurricane.

There is a little knob/slider on the bottom of each video player that you can grab (click and hold) and slide to increase/decrease the volume for that player/channel.

this is certainly terrible

It seems as though Galveston and Houston got hit pretty hard. I'm watching the local news from Houston now.
