I hope that everyone in Ike's path along the gulf coast avoids damage from this hurricane. Be safe and evacuate to avoid personal injury if the officials deem it necessary. Property can be replaced but life cannot. We are praying that after it has passed all our friends will be safe and well.May each of you avoid tragedy.

We are on the edge of Galveston County very close to Brazoria and Harris Counties. Lot's of folks evacuating all around us.

Wow, hoping for the best. This is a frightening one. I was in the other room but I thought I heard it is 600 miles across. Hopefully I didn't hear that correctly when the evening news was talking about Ike.
