It's "trash" what will be the problem? You aren't allowed to put stuff IN someone elses dumpster - I don't think they care if you take it OUT!

I just now finished planting and repotting my finds from last week. Built a new flowerbed and oh how nice it was to be able to fill up a new bed with nice size plants and not have to wait for them to grow!

We left the house for a bit and our rotten dog had dug himself a bed in it!!! So I am headed back to Lowes today...but not for plants. Building an electric fence!! Shouldn't take but once for him to decide he doesn't like that spot so well, after all!! (of course while I am there...I may have to check out the clearance racks! )

Lucky gals.. I've looked at the Lowes racks here.. Not much of interest.. And not marked down much either.. Wonder if I'm looking at the wrong area.. Hmm..

I walk up and down the aisles here in the gardening center, and you will see this ridiculously low placecard, like on 3 or 5 gallon pots

like 1.75
3.25
Crazy!

Last fall I got a waterfall kit, without the pump for 8.00 at Lowes, the kind that is preformed with little sub ponds. It is close to 150.00 with the pump. He just wanted to get rid of it I guess ,I had extra pumps,so it worked for me.
I always have to check out the what I call the dead plant racks, I think someone at Lowes had it in for the begonias this season, there were lots of them... I have plenty, but told my friends.
In Alaska, we used to dumpster dive at the dump close to the University in Fairbanks, the kids would throw away most all they had ,if it was their last year,so now you know my dark secret. Furnished a friends home after she lost her other from there one year ..

I went back to Lowes today. The plants that I had to leave (cause I couldn't get everything for a quarter in my car) were back inside, with the original marked down prices and looking much worse than when I picked though them outside the fence last week! The Kimberley Queen ferns that I got were twice the size of what they had left, and they were "marked down" to $9.39 today. Glad I grabbed them when I did last week. I'm guessing mine weren't supposed to be thrown out after all and would be willing to bet someone got in trouble after I left!
