I had a grass fire here in chicago suburbs but in a way more wacky way.....lets just call it a 50' X 50' firework rocket accident

Slipmat,; There are many dripping Springs in Dripping Springs and some are still dripping even in the drought. If you have not experienced a spring or grotto in an arid inenvironment, you should. It is magical. It is amazing to see the prickly pear and harsh brush break into a areas of Bald cypress, maidenhair fern and moss. The water in Central texas is amazingly crystal clear unlike the tannin stained and muddy waters east of hear. These pictures were taken during a drought ,a few years back. AHH< water in the desert. Listen to how Willie sings "COOOooL water". It says it all.

Leoncio, We have had them too. Hit my son in the butt and then went in a stand of grass and exploded. We hit the cow once too. She would charge any time she saw with the rig after that, so we gave up doing that on the property.

Yea all with a little plastic toy too keeps the flames going....and my father didnt notice a patch of missing grass in the lawn! lol
