I was so shocked to see them, I had noticed the limb and thought the new leaf was wadded and having a hard time coming out. I read up on them today and your suppose to cut that one down once you harvest the bananas.

Suzy, I don't think you live in zone 7. I DO. And all I have in bloom now is snowdrops.

calin, yes I really live in zone 7 it was up in the 80's here yesterday. Just this week everything has greened up and I had to mow. Thought I was going to have to run my air yesterday. Look me up on the map, I'm just north of Memphis Tenn over in Arkansas

Gee that map was interesting - they have now changed me to zone 6. Yippy - I can get new and different plants to live here.
