Pondlady, our weather has been a roller coaster ride this year also. We had temps in the 50s and then over night it dropped down to 12 degrees. Today was in the 50s again and tomorrow it is supposed to be near 70. My plants are doing nuts trying to decide whether to stay still or start to grow. It has been just crazy.

It was just wonderful here again today near 70. So many things sprouting up now. The crocus are blooming so pretty. Daylilies are sprouting all over the place. The lilacs are getting tiny leaves now. I keep hoping my dwarf cherry plum tree will not bud to soon.

We tore out the old back fence last week and I am waiting for the new fence panels to get here still(getting annoyed with it).

Had to move some daff and scilla bulbs today that would have been on the new fence line. Do planted them in pots hoping they will still grow and bloom.

Got the greenhouse on the back patio with the new cover on and just waiting for the fence to be done so I can move the green house were I want it in the yard.

70's here today too! As I was outside drinking my coffee I remembered I had bulbs I dug up last year in boxes .. I got them all out and spent the morning planting Caladiums, Amaryllis, Gladiolas and the Dahlias I got in trade!

X, I was thinking about the MG grow out..when do you think we will be starting that? I am already getting some of my MG seeds planted in the house under the grow lights.

Deeka it all depends on your temps I would say and what the normal temps for your area are for this time of year. If there is still a chance of a freeze then its best to wait since dahlias and EE both can not take that cold.
