From Ohio

Hello, I live in Galion. It's about 15 minutes from Mansfield and an hour from Columbus. There is a beautiful place in Mansfield called Kingwood Center. Acres of flowers for the public to enjoy. I take my kids there every year for pictures. If anyone interested in meeting up and doing a plant swap at Kingwood let me know. They also have a greenhouse. I'll try to head that way in the next couple of weeks and post some pics to give you an idea of what it is like.

Hello fellow Ohioans! I live in Gahanna / Columbus.

I am dissapointed that I just learned of this site last night, missing the plant swap that was scheduled for May 22, 2010. I would have loved to have been a part of the swap. ::sigh:: I suppose there will always be next year.

Kerioke,

That's too bad that you missed a local swap.... so neat to get gobs of plants and meet other people.

But we do lots of mail swaps here too. If you watch the 'plant and seed exchange' forum, you'll see lots of people offering/wanting different kinds of plants.

TalkingLancaster, OH checking in!

Hi there!

I'm in Lancaster, OH. I just joined this forum this evening, and would love to be kept in the loop if there are any swaps organized.

I'm also very excited to hear what other people are having luck with in zone 5b like myself!
