Where is spring?

My Christmas Cactus started blooming around Easter, and it now finally looks like they are finished. So they bloomed at the wrong time.
My hellebores bloomed later than usual, and are still going strong. Boy, do I love them.
My newest double hellebore bloomed very early and something ate it! They may be deer resistant, but some other creature found a treat. I was so disappointed. Only saw the bloom for 2 days, but, at least I saw it!

My Christmas cactus is confused. It bloomed for Christmas and than decided to bloom again recently, although not as full as it did in December.

I am glad you brought up hellebore. This is the first time I planted it and didn't know how it behaves. Mine is still blooming away. It has a bunch of new buds on it. I love this plant, its so unique in color. Mine is a dusty red, really pretty.

My hellebore is a dusty pink and lime green with darker pink speckles:

Be careful where you plant them because it is not easy to divide or move. Mine are next to a large clump of ornamental grass with some fall crocus inter-planted. You need a crowbar to make it budge. They are so pretty though, and great with the daffodils. Last year I bought some Sunshine selections mixed colors on sale, they came so late I had to squeeze them into protected areas before the snow came ...glad you brought this topic up, I better go find them again before they become entrenched.
