Just finished shovel snow from yesterday and sprinkled sand on icy spots and steps
took some pictures (will post later)
had biiiiig cop of coffee (hot,strong,black,no sugar)
filled up bird feeder
fed all fish
fed the dog
packed some seeds
getting ready to go to work,have to live by 2pm, to make few stops (Post Office,Home Depot-I'm out of sand and salt),will grab a dinner somewhere between
hope my car will start,its -1 F,will drop to -10F later,another sunny,freeeeeezing day,brrrrr,no fun at all,
when will this end???? come spring,come spring,come spring,come spring,

Painting ceilings! UGH!!!!!! I hate painting...but ceilings are the worst!!

Lots of drop cloths, raggedy old clothes, aching arms.... no fun

any good ideas on how to make a pinting day more fun? I'm putting dough in the bread machine for homemade pizza and the boys are going to try and help some painting, but I don't know what we can do to help make our day more fun as we work.... besides play music

My girlfriend is having her birthday and has to swab 20mdogs and tenty human mouths for her second grade daughters science project. She took of from her corporate lawyer job to celebrate her birthday. Ha!

Natalie I don't envy you one bit. Personally I can't raise my arms above my head so I'll never do that. I have no idea how you could make that job fun. Years ago we let the kids play tic tac toe on the walls we were painting. Not a good idea after we were done we could see all the marks and had to paint again. I hope it goes quickly for you.
I don't have much planned today. I'll do a load of wash and go water and dead head the plants in the GH. Still getting over my cold so I'll take it easy one more day.

I went to do my bit of service work for Obama's national Service day. I helped build trails in a county park. Cleared brush remove rocks kind of stuff. Worked with a young woman who had just got back from Africa where she had been working in the Peace Core teaching. I met some more neighbors I didn't know and some I hadn't seen in a while. It was at a park that I had helped create. I was one of many who got the county to buy this beautiful piece of land and then work the campaign to get the bond voted on and passed. I kinda think of it as my park. I have an investment in it, one might say.

It was a glorious day. Upper 60's, sunny. Absolutely perfect for working outside in a gorgeous place.

Marasri that's awesome. I know how you feel about the park being yours. I feel that way about a caution light I helped get installed. Went door to door, the meeting etc. Every time I go past it I feel a little like it's mine. I miss doing community service. I used to do something regularly until DH got sick. Can't commit these days. He doesn't always need me but when he does well he does.
