Hi All friends, Our Grandson(James)Age10-we have custody- will have to go back to the hopspital (Doctors Hospital-Augusta Ga.)Burn Center-this Tues(7-1-08) for more skin grafts on his right hand,this makes the 3rd- so please pray this one takes so we won't have another 300 mile trip, its already too much on us as we don't have the extra to waste on Gas.For "ALL" who have sent cards,letters,Gifts- Etc- THANKS sooo very much, you are really Appreciated, will keep updated when able,not much time anymore as I too have health problems,lungs and back troubles,DH has his hands full too,love and blessing's-rosequeen

Hope all goes well for all of you. Don't worry about things you can't change and just focus on what you can do. As we all learn - things really happen for a purpose and it is not always evident. I for so many years (in my younger days) hated that explaination, I wanted to know what the purpose was. But as I get older I realize that God does have a plan it just might not be the same as ours. So take things one day at a time and just love each other as much as possible. We will keep you all in our prayers!

I think you were right to hate that explanation G-mom. God doesn't have any 'purpose' or 'lesson' in our accidents. I believe God takes everything bad that happens to us and makes it for good when we ask Him. But we have to ask Him. I often wondered if we would have as many bad things happen to us if we prayed about everything so bad things wouldn't happen. You know, prayer for our kids each day about their future and protection and purpose in life. I've been real guilty of not being diligent about covering my kids in prayer-then my daughter gets blood clots and almost loses her life. I'm so glad God has mercy on us when we aren't perfect in our prayer life and all the things that could go wrong-don't go wrong. But we have a will-and God doesn't intervene in the normal trend in life unless we ask Him to. Both good and evil will occur naturally without prayer-God made it that way. But we can pray and He can get involved in our lives.
Looks like James is covered with lots of prayer and love.
We will pray for you and husband too!

Thanks for the up date. Like was said take on day at a time,
it is all in our father hands. He will make a way. My family and
I have you in our prayers. Keep in mine one day at a time, it may
be that you may have to take one hour at a time, but know
our father knows,what's going on and how you feel.

know we are so greatful for any school supplies/clothes/shoes/Etc- if you want to send anything right now, we are having to ask for donations this year and as it takes all finances to make these trips, we know God is in control too, we raised our Family in church and know he's covered by the blood of Christ.Like was said"ask and you shall recieve" but also know we do appreciate it so very much for a childs help, love and blessing's to you who donate anything right now,Rosequeen

THE OTHER WEEK I OVERHEARD A MAN TELL THE LADY AT A THRIFT SHOP HOW HE HAD BEEN HOOKED ON DRUGS AND HAD BEEN FREE AND THAT HE WAS ALMOST KILLED IN A MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT,AND SINCE ALL THIS HE WAS FREE FROM DRUGS, AND THE REAL PART THAT HIT ME WAS HE SAID"ITS A PRIVLAGE TO WORK AND GET ABOUT! WE DON'T REALIZE TILL WE ARE SICK AND DOWN. BUT HOW TRUE LIFE AND LIVING IS A PRIVLAGE!PRAYERS FOR YA AND ALL!

I had that experience also.. Not in drugs......I wont go into it, but since then , the only thing that really matters is Life.
