Surviving the Storm

I just want to send out a prayer that all who are in the path of the storms are spared any injury and very little damage.

My prayers are going out to The Gulf Coast, special thoughts to any of our swap buddies impacted by this storm. Last thing I saw on Yahoo was storm weakening. Praying that is true. Who do we know from that area that is on this site? Not sure which part of Alabama Alpha is from.

Thanks for the prayers, you all are wonderful....In our part of Alabama, things are doing well, actually haven't had any rain. I have a friend in Mississippi, said they have several trees down and under storm warning...We'll just keep praying.

Diane thank you for letting us know. It's frightening watching the news about the storms and unfortunately looks like more are forming. I'll keep praying.

We'll be getting quite a bit of rain(hasn't started yet) but it will within the next five hours. The wind has already started making the air feel heavy. All the plants have been prepped for the watering they'll get....some need it anyway.

We've been pretty use to having extra rain this year, and the lakes have already been drawn down to hold the extra. Just wish I had my rain barrels already....

Hopefully those that are closer to the Gulf have taken the steps to keep themselves safe!

I've only seen a light 5 minute sprinkle so far over here. I expect we'll likely get a little bit of rain tomorrow, but we were spared the brunt of the storm. best wishes for all who got hammered.

I hope that not too many people tried to stay in that mess. There are always some that refuse to leave there home.

Send a message via Yahoo to dirtyfingernails
It sure looks like we will be having a really active hurricane/tornado season this year. Candy and I are sending prayers out to anyone that becomes involved with these storms. We know the feeling of fighting a losing battle over natures fury. May the heavenly father protect us and keep us in his grace.
Bill
