Show off your pets....

It seems very few people have things to share about their gardens this time of year, so I thought ( I know it only causes trouble when I do that) let's show off our pets.......

I'll start off....

I recently adopted a three and a half year old great Dane, by the name of charlie......

Lol, I never get lost......

Because everyone tells me where to go..

Love the spider, I had a few of those last year, and a few toads that would sneak out the backdoor at night....

And a speckled king snake that lived in my garden shed........

Here's my babies, Jack in front, and Abe. Sadly they got in a fight with a bad rattlesnake and were bitten multiple times. My beautiful Jack did not make it but the vet saved Abe so he's all I have now except two big fat hens that give me eggs each day. My heart still hurts over losing Jack just a couple months ago.

Thank you for sympathy comment. I too have a tree surrounded by my loyal pets over the last 24 years we've lived here. So they are still here at home, all except Buffy, a blonde chihuahua that coyotes carried away and killed. We live in the country so lots of varmints around.

Charlie's original owners lived in Kansas City, I was told they had to move and couldn't take him with them, a friend of theirs took him in not wanting him to go to the animal shelter...

He drove from here to KC (roughly an eight hour trip) only to find out his German Shepards didn't like him, .....

By way of mouth, we find out about this guy with German Shepards that had a great Dane to rehome, turns out he was an ex-neighbor of my daughter's!

Needless to say, we met with the guy, we fell in love with charlie (charlie feel in love with the grandkids) and we've been spoiling him ever since.
