New Lowes

A new Lowes just opened up in the town closest to me. I went in there yesterday just to look around. I was strolling around looking at the plants when I saw this woman with a vest on that said vender. Well, she came over close to me and I asked her if she was a merchandiser. She said yes and I asked if they did any more stores in this town. She replied, no they only take care of lowes. I asked if she only took care of the perennials and she says they take care of the whole garden center. Now I was there when it first opened and this garden center is awesome. A plant lovers dream. I marveled then on how nice it would be to work there. My daughter even commented.....Mom, this is the place you should be working. So, I started telling the lady about my job as a greenhouse merchandiser and how it only lasted about 10 weeks and I really enjoyed it but it didnt last long enough. She informs me that they work from March until October. Pretty soon , she is telling me to wait there, she will get me one of her cards and to call her in march if I want the job at that store. She was the person who does the hiring for the merchandisers for Lowes in this area!! And she said she will be looking for someone in that location next year!!!!! She gave me her card and put her telephone number on it and told me to call her in March!!!!!! She said they can draw unemployment for the off months, which would only be 4 months out of the year. I dont like driving in the snow especially in a Camaro. Its only about 10 minutes from my house. The job pays 50 cents more an hour. And I would be the one marking the plants down at Lowes. I am thinking I fell into an awesome opportunity!!!!!!! I am too stoked about this!!!!!!!!!!! Cant wait until March now!!
