New to the garden site

Hi,
I just joined the site today. I am in North Texas. I have a few starts of Night Blooming Cereus if anyone would like a start of it. It is a really beautiful plant & I've had it for many years. Also have some lilies, monkey grass, & tons of marigold seeds. Let me know if anyone would like to have some or if you have anything you might like to trade. I think this sounds like a great site for exchange of info & plant starts... Trumpetvine

Welcome, trumpetvine! Glad to have you with us.
I'm sure that you'll have great fun getting to know everyone and swapping lots of plants and seeds.

I grow the "Queen of the Night" (Cereus/Epiphyllum oxypetalum) too,
and I look forward to those awesome blooms with their heavenly scent each year!
I also acquired several other varieties of Epiphyllum last year,
a couple of which are setting flower buds already!! I can't wait to see 'em!

QuestionNew to forum

Hi! I'm new to the forum as well. I have some water lilies... not sure what kind or color, maybe white or light yellow. I also have some morning glories... they are babies... may need to wait a week or two before trading these. I am in central texas. Also have cannas.. they are pretty big though... about 2 ft tall (not sure if that's good to ship), great ivy (English, I think). I also have Zinna seeds and a few other items. I have some iris but I'm not sure what kind they are... purple, light purple, and a small yellow flower that I'm not postive is an iris. Most of my stuff is inherited. My morning glory is from an heirloom seed I bought off ebay. They are growing great. I also have a great creeping fern (???) It's really pretty--not sure how to divide that. Let me know if your interested.

Smiletrades

I'm really excited about all the responses & I know I am going to enjoy trading information & plant starts. I am going to have to be away from the computer for several days working on a family reunion. Next week I will look forward to getting back with the group & arranging some trades. Talk to you all mid week-next week. Have a great weekend!
