Questionnew from Florida--where are the plant swaps?

hey there, new to forum. Live in Port Charlotte, trying my hand at propagating plants, first time. Would like any help on what would work well in my area and the best way to do it, water or medium.
I would very much like to go to a plant swap too--are they big shindigs or at a persons house? thanks for patience in advance.

Hi and welcome to our forum. I grew up in Sarasota (was in the first graduating class at Riverview High School) and learned to love tropical plants as a teenager there. I lived in Sarasota when the population wa only 25,000! Now, MANY years later, I still love and grow them to the extent I can in Austin TX. Go to my website "Southeast Texas Gardening" and there is a page on plant propagation that might be helpful to you. www.southeasttexasgardening.info/propag.htm

Hi Steph, welcome to the forum.

Plant swaps can range from 8-10 gardeners getting together at someone's home to 100-200 invading a public park.
