SmileMuch sadness in our area today.

One of our twp....workers was going to work and another auto hit him driving on the same side of the road...Killed the worker....Worst part , his wife was going to work, same spot and passed the wreck and didn't know......

Oh my gosh, I was sick to the guts for her....

What a start to the week. My hubby was at the shed to take stuff there and they told him.......We were pretty shocked.

The other driver didnt get hurt

Oh B! I'm so very sorry, for the loss of your friend
and for what all of his family and friends must be feeling.
Such a sudden, terrible shock!
As you say, in a small town, everyone is like a member of the family.
Please know that I'm lifting a prayer for all.

That is terrible that she drove by and didnt know what was going on. I cant imagine B. There was a bad accident here a couple years ago, same thing, small town. It was in the morning. They didnt release the name all day, the kids came home from school and it was my worst fear come true. My son fell into my arms crying. Then an hour later my daughter came home and she was a mess too. It had been a 16 year old girl driving herself to school, wrecked on the way and died at the scene. One of their friends. There were a mess for a while there. I know how ya feel Bali, it was a terrible time for us too. Time makes it better but getting past it in the beginning is hard to do, and even harder to deal with.

So sad...

I know when you loose someone in death it can be hard. A few years ago the mother of a little girl I babysat was driving a dump truck to a sight and was hit by a cement truck, the mother died instantly. It was pretty sad. As said time does heal but I still get feelings of sadness abiout the whole thing. It will get better but you will feel hurt every now and then. Prayer does help alot. If you get a chance read REV. 21:3,4. I keep these verses in mind whenever I feel or hear something sad, its a great promise from God to us that sadness is not everlasting and that for all soon there will be peace.
You are in my thoughts, Jessie

There was a bad accident near where my parents lived. Sad deal One class mate in a pick up ran a stop sign and hit a car with 2 of his fellow classmates in it. They were boyfriend and girlfriend. The girls boyfriend died at the sceen and the boy who ran the stop sign held the girls hand and talked to her in the life flight all the way to the hospital. She just died of a brain hemorage. How does that poor young man live with killing two of his classmates!!!! There was a low fog that night.
