Back home!

Hi everyone, we're back from PA and we had a nice time. I hadn't seen my family in 2 years, so it was great. We had dinner at my parents house the first night, then my older brother's ...then my younger brother's.

We were all originally from NY, but in time, moves have gone on and now my family is all in PA and we came back to NY from Fl....lots of reasons and lots of stories in there...lol

and guess what ..... we went to PetSmart and they had shelter kitties there for adoption....and I found my new baby. He is a long hair kitten, maybe about 10 months old and loves attention. He is a non stop purring machine. Slept on my pillow all night last night. I think he wil be great. I have not named him yet, but will decide on that today and wil share a photo of him as soon as I get some uploaded. He is just adorable....his ears are too big for the rest of him..... heeheeee....wait until you see him.

ok....wanted to say hi ... I am starting to feel better.... still have to remind myself in the mornings that Tonka's not here, but am not so sad about it anymore. The healing has begun.

thank you everyone for your prayers and well wishes...it means a lot to me.

Natalie

What wonderful news! So glad to hear you are feeling better and have a new furball to love. They go a long way toward healing the pain of losing your other cat. Can't wait to see pics and hear some cute kitten stories.

Welcome home Natalie. So happy to hear you had a good trip and are home safe and sound. It's been 15 years and I still miss my dog from time to time. She brougth cheer to my life and her memory still does. I too can't wait to see the pics of your new little big eared shadow. He sounds adorable and I am sure he will soon take over Tonka's duties. Lucky kitty to have you as his Mom.

Oh, this is wonderful news BB. I am so happy that you had such a great time with your family.

What great news that you found you a new fur baby to spend time with and to help you with the lost of Tonka. Of course he will never replace Tonka but the laoss of him will not be as hard now that you have a new kitten to play with. I can't wait until you show us his picture. Kittens are so lovely and funny.
