bought a periwinkle ground cover for my Indiana yard

I'm so excited I found a groundcover to go in my arbor walkway and it's starting to come together.I'm new at this but hoping it will be satisfying. It has taken me awhile to get this area cleaned out and transformed.I still have a lot to do but it looking good.

Wonder if it's what I just got

I just pulled baskets of vinca or periwinkle (I think their names are used interchangably around here) from the woods along the edge of the old cemetery where many of my ancestors are buried. I've plugged them into a dry shady area where NOTHING will grow. If periwinkle won't grow there I fear nothing will.

yes barefoot gardener that is exactly what I bought.I think it will be pretty through the walkway.I'm not very experienced with this project but its defiantly a learning experience ,so if it doesnt work at least I did try and I give myself an A+ .I will take photos today and post of what it looks like so far.And maybe you sweet ladies may have suggestions ,I'm still learning and knowledge goes a long way.But please keep in mind this is a large project and so much more to do,I'm just beginning on it.Have a nice day ladies.

I believe that is called achillea or yarrow. Looks very nice and your area should fill in very nicely.

Hello Cincysix welcome to PS.I was not sure how much it would take to cover my walkway so I just bought 4 periwinkle. And as you see I am expanding slowly but surely , so may need some more later on and we could do some trading.I hope you have a very nice day!
