Most orchids offered at stores like Walmart are very easy to grow, and usually come with easy to follow instructions......

Or you can always ask here......

I got some small ciivia plants a few months ago, the main thing to remember with these is to grow them in orchid medium. They are all doing well.

That is what I potted them in. The mix had some fine particles and I was concerned the roots wouldn't be able to breathe in it. So far they look good, all the leaves are standing up strong. Now my concern is how often to water. I was going to wait a week after potting as the instructions said, but the leaves started drooping so I watered and they erected themselves nicely.

The mix is somewhat firm so it's kinda hard to stick finger in to check moisture. I purchased and orchid and the seller said to give a turkey baster of water once a week, I think I'll try that. He said fertilize with 20-20-20 every other week.

Anyway, that's the plan, what do you think?
