Shirley,

I real arent on the same level as you on the cactus.
My theory is .......let them be root bound.. They seem to do best for me that way .. You did see it .??????

Maybe you water too much.......I dont give them much .. Dry side is best here.
And cool temperatures.

Yes, I saw yours, it's gorgeous. And some of mine will be that way in a week or so, but these 3 or so pots just don't look like much. They've all been on the same baker's rack under a crepe myrtle so they got morning sun only and the same amount of water--pretty moist this summer. All the others seemed to love it, but these few are just plain stubborn. I about to give them new soil, new pot, and a good shot of MG after they settle in and see what happens. I want all of mine to look like yours!

Bali, I just caught what you said about you not knowing as much as me on cactus--bah!!! I am the one seeking advise, remember?

I did find excellent websites on holiday cactuses that might be of interest to some:

Don't know. There also supposed to be a yellow. I've never seen that either, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. LOL

I was just given a cutting of a yellow T'giving cactus. When it grows some, I will owe you a piece.

Most of my cacti are young and only some of them are blooming at all, and even then they only have one or two blooms. So I'm sending you photos of just the blooms.
