There's a BLUE Christmas cactus??? AWESOME. 8D

I have four cuttings of Thanksgiving cactus (I think) in pink and peach/orange; they have buds on them but I'm wondering if I should pinch them off to allow more energy for rooting. *serious thinkin'*

kettish,

Do everything in your power to get me a blue one.

Sell pencils on the street corner if you have to..

Pinching.........I never have pinched mine..
They do wonderful regardless.. I sort of think they like cooler climates?
Not sure .

Let them bloom I'd say..

LMK of blues.............

Thanks Lisa..

They seem to prefer being root bound, no need to separate.

I have another pot just starting ......and an easter one elsewhere.

I have also mixed mine in the same pots. I ended up with so many cuttings that when I got them rooted, I just put 3 or 4 in each pot and left that way, planning to regroup and repot once the bloom. But it may be more interesting to leave them the way they are.

I have a question for all you Holiday Cactus people. I've ended up with 2 or 3 pots with cactuses that are lemony-green, not as in a hybrid color but as a 'I'm not happy' color, no or little new growth, and just generally do not look as well as my others. Any ideas would be appreciated. And yes, I'm being too lazy to pick up my camera which if 6" from my left elbow and walking over to the plant stand that is 4' from me and taking a shot. Okay, okay, I will--tomorrow.
