I give mine a drink every couple of days. They're out under a crepe myrtle tree on a metal stand so I can just spritz them good with the hose as I go by. They grow like weeds there, and two of my Thanksgiving cacti bloomed a month or so ago.

You know these things are tropical plants so you gotta figure they'd much rather be moist than dry.

Thanks for the info - since what I am currently doing is not working, I'll try your suggestion. LOL

I do keep it in the house but it has been TERRIBLY hot and humid here so perhaps it is loosing too much moisture through it's "leaves".

Thanks again.

Be sure to transition them outside--always in shade. Start with a couple of hours in the morning, then add a couple of hours of late afternoon. Do that over about a week or two; then they should be ready to leave them out.

GM, yes, I think they should be outside at this time, but as BFG said, transition them. Mine are kept on a covered patio from March or April til maybe Oct. I'm in zone 9a tho. Mine are getting bright sun tho as I moved them over some. I fed them a few weeks back with fish emulsion. All of my holiday cactus have new leaf growth but none have re-bloomed since their beautiful display of blooms at Christmastime. Hope this helps some GM. Let us know how you fair out okay?
