jdkline,

thank you so much.

I am in shock how pretty they both are.. My hd finds it hard to belive that I grew them..

One lady actually picked the pink over the white......I am loving both.

Now my baby one is supposed to be yellow. When ??????/no sprouts yet.
they bloom long.
In warmer climate they say continous..

I have looked at them in the stores before but am afraid I would kill them. Dont know how hard they are to grow.

Not hard at all....
Mine is in the Phalaenopsis family orchid......
Both white and pink are.. I was scared too at first.
They have a tag on them with directions , which I follow.

Most are potted.. Now the soil in mine is Orchid soil bought walmart.
Keep it moist and I keep a bit of water under it at all times.......
Fertilize one time a month.

Give yourself more credit. I've killed many an orchid plant. I have no luck at all.

Beautiful Bali! I have an orchid about the color of your pink one. It was in bloom when given to me (about 6 months ago) and now it has several new buds on it but they have not opened yet. The buds appeared nearly 2 weeks ago. Should I be concerned that they haven't opened yet?
