Hi Dita.....

The key with starting tomatoes, is light.....whether its a sunny window sill, or a lighting system....its actually not that hard to do, i have started all mine indoors for the past few years.
I havent bought a grow light, and instead use a desk lamp for my tomatoes and peppers, and rotate the plants so they all get equal amounts of light (more or less) and they sit on my freezer, next to a sunny window, so that helps too.

The also dont need alot of water, in fact i would use a spray bottle and "mist them" for the first little while.

If you find that the end up with fungus, sprinkle a little ground cinnamon, on the earth and that will eliminate it, plus it smells great.

Hope this helps a little, and HBL will have some advice for you too, when she comes along.

Keep us posted, and good luck with it.

Thank you for the advice penny! I am making a folder with all the new info!

I know she said to grow a determinate seed for indoors but which kind would be best? I will probably try to grow a few plants, for I am afraid it will take a few before I have a thriving good plant.
