ball jar terrarium ideas.

Hi everyone. It's nice to be back.
I am about to try my hand at cutting a few large wine bottles into bell jars so I can turn them into terrariums. Does anyone have experience with terrariums at all? I'd like some feedback on what plants to place in them. They can either be closed or not. I know that cacti and succulents won't do well in a closed terrarium, but other than that I'm open to ideas.

Venus Flytrap is an excellent choice for a terrarium. Coincidently, I just sowed some seeds last night! Carnivorous plants are great choices. How about a pitcher plant?

Hopefully you'll show us some shots when you get your terrarium going.

Good luck and have fun!
