Talkingswap?

We're in McCalla and were talking just the other day about hosting a swap (Birmingham might be a good place for it) before it gets too cold!

I'm on the AL side of the AL/FL state line...and I don't have much in the line of plants to swap at the moment...traded my extras out already...holding most of my extra seeds for a couple of other swaps i've committed to...if i wasn't so strapped i'd love to do something like that tho...if we do i would need advance planning so i'd be able to root stuff and divide stuff and save stuff and plan for the gas money and the time away from home...it's a good idea tho...the others i've committed to have been in the working for a while...i'm always in for meeting fellow gardners and friends tho locally or from AL ) so maybe somehow we can all get together sometime in the future...

A BIG welcome to all of you that I haven't taken a chance to personally say hi to!! It's good to have close garden neighbors

Don't know if your still looking for trades? I have a few to trade but mostly seeds right now. I am really looking for some one who wants to start a traveling seed box. That way anyone who has bunches of seeds to share can put some in a box, send it to the next person on the list and then that person to the next. Well you get the idea.
I would love to try seeds from other parts of the country and try my hand at growing new types of seeds/plants.
Any ideas?
Sara
