There is something so charming about the little birds - and yet they are fierce little hunters!
I love seeing them darting around the garden, but caterpillars beware!

Our Carolina Chickadee wears a plainer "uniform", without the pretty chestnut feathers.

I took this photo today in Butchart Gardens (you can look that up in Google) You don't often see them in the day, and probably harder to see them at night. They do have to perch somewhere in the day time however. Barred owl.

OMG one of my all time favorites.. My brother once had a white one mounted........I use to collect Owl figurines.
Of course I never seen one.
I am bird crazy, flower crazy camera nut .You name it .

I love that photo..
I live on a farm an see lots of stuff here, but no owls
