Great family photos of the Pileated Woodpeckers, K!

We are lucky enough to see some each year, it seems that they return to our neighborhood to nest and raise young.
I have never managed to get a photo the quality of yours, though I do try.
I wish this one had turned out better, caught frolicking in the birdbath:

Good one, ZuZu! He was having too much fun to stop frolicking and pose for you, lol! Love it.

Two birds today, but male and female so we have four images.
Male and then the female Spotted Towhee. Then the female and male cardinal. We don't have the cardinals here though.

Great pictures, kindle and zuzu. We have cardinals galore, I counted 6 mated pairs nesting here this year. They are so pretty, I love watching them eat out the window. I have lots of birdies that feed in my front yard, I love it. They are so pretty I can't help but smile as I watch them. And my pet squirrel too. Lol,

Cardinals are great birds we had some last year come right up on our porch where we was living in a hanging basket without flowers and hatched out some babies and came right with us out there and took care of the babies and then one little baby did not want to leave our front porch Mama had a hard time getting him to go

That's cool bandit. Mine come close to the steps but not up on the porch. However my pet squirrel will come up right to my glass door, she eat right along side of the birds. Hehe, vie got a big ole rabbit that visits frequently as well as a possum, lol. They get all my veggie scraps. Oh, the possum loves bannas, hehe.

No one appears to be looking at the daily bird so I will give it a rest.

Today we have some water birds, hooded mergansers. The second shows why they are called hooded as the male raises his hood. The third is the male and female.

I would love to have some of your water birds in our ponds that we built. Your pictures are fabulous and please keep them coming. I was really impressed with the pilated woodpecker pictures as they are so skidish and difficult to photograph. Awesome.
