Greg got one last night of me and Nuka,
I wasn't feeling very good last night....dizzy spells, girl stuff....you know, just yucky....and Nuka crawled up with me to snuggle and comfort me...he did a good job .... (no make-up...ugh...you can TELL I wasn't feeling good!!) lol



but it's too sweet to not share

that is stinkin' cute.. our hukies snuugle with us too!! Our male, Blitzen sleeps with our son in his bed. Very sweet moment!!

thanks, he is the most loyal dog I've ever known. He is a total mama's boy, He looks to me for everything, and goes with me just about everywhere. He's home with me all day, you know, so it's always me and Nuka.
And of course, he thinks/wants he is a lap dog.

Blitzen is a total mama's boy too.. he's the protector following me around all day long... jazzebel is the hyper snooty one.. she's a total play toy for Eoghan and attention hog.

Eoghan, is that your son's name? (boy, girl?? sorry, it's not one I've heard of before...) what does it mean? I like unusual names

Nuka protects only when there is a man at the door he doesn't know .... he will literally get between us and stand the ground and do a small warning growl. I have never stopped him, as long as he never takes it from there, I want him to know he is right by protecting me. There was a cable guy here once he did that too, actually wouldn't let him in the door, so I didn't let him in either, talked through the screen....bat the end he said to Nuka, "You're a good boy protecting her like that" ...it made me cry, literally, just got to my emotional side...lol .... and knowing someone he was doing it to could also appreciate that kind of loyalty and love from an animal.

And huskies aren't supposed to be protective....now someone he knows??....forget it....they could probably come in, knock me out and steal whatever they want and Nuka would just wwag his tail at them and ask if they wanted anything more.

Eoghan is a boy.. it's a traditional irish name.. meaning "god's gift." We wanted something unusual ..

Our dogs are the same about friends.. Blitzen will get all puffed up with strangers.. but, anyone he knows could def. come in the house and knock us out and he would probably just stand there are roll over. LOL

oh...hubby is looking at a puppy tonight....a chow/shepherd mix....may be adding her to the family tonight. I'll take pics if she does come home tonight

do you pronounce Eoghan like EE O gh-in?? I wondered if it was Irish. My youngest is Evan, which is Celtic.

pfffft. i wish my dog was like that! but he's a scaredy dog. lol if he dunno you (and you're outside), he will bark & stand there shaking in his boots.. lol if he's inside, he just about breaks through the door cause he's so anxious to see who's there! if i'm home, he just frolicks around like a doofus & let's the people do whatever... -_- he's more like a french dog--- you know... all love, no bite.
