Talking

Thanks all, you guys are very kind.

I am so grateful to have my glasshouse, it gets me through the winter months.
The last few weeks of winter I can concentrate on watching these blossoms develop,
just waiting for the spring and summer to arrive.

I wouldn’t mind being stuck inside quite so much if I had those beauties to keep me company. They are all just breathtaking. TFS can't wait to see more.

Before the cold returns ... (lotsa pics)

I'm not sure how cold it will really get over the next couple of nights,
the weatherman says it could frost, but I really don't want to believe that.

Just in case he's right, I snapped some pix of what's bloomin' -
I sure hope they don't all get frostbite.

Our Camellias are nearly all finished anyway, there are just a few lingering flowers here and there -
Meanwhile my Azaleas are just beginning to open - only a few so far -

These Bleeding Hearts are just too cute, they have barely even started to grow at all,
only a few inches tall and starting to bloom already.
The Wisterias alongside the driveway are always full of bees, and they smell sooo good (the Wisterias, not the bees )
I waited too long to get a picture of my weeping cherry tree in the front yard while it was in bloom,
we had a very windy day ... and the petals fell like snow.
But this little one in the back yard is still in flower -

Well, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed, hoping we don't have a repeat performance of April 2007,
when a late frost burned everything to mush.
