Walmarts has their bulbs half off!

I got me some more crocus bulbs, some more daffodil, and some more tulip bulbs. Some already show signs of sprouting. I still haven't planted the bulbs my sister got for me at Christmas (tulips and muscari). I also bought a big bag of flower and garden potting soil , which I need to bring inside. I still have the soil in my car, I'm not sure if I'll be able to lift it lol. Anyways I'll plant the bulbs when I wintersow after I recieve then send the ever changing mystery box.

We found bulbs for $.27 a bag full last fall. I got carried away and must have bought 25 bags. I had forgotten all about them. Now I will have something else to look forward to this spring, we planted all of them.

I dont know about warm places, but we plant those in the fall to bloom in the spring. I forgot what all I planted.
I have a chart somewhere. My daffys come back yearly. No need to renew.

It is funny how winter wipes out what I did every fall in the beds.
This winter my whole brain was wiped out .

Come spring come.

I planted bunches this past fall, most of these bulbs looks like they are starting to grow so I might plant them and leave them inside a week or two to let them start their roots then put them outside before their stems get tall, winter will force them to hold on hopefully. Like the daffodils are doing that started sprouting in december are staying the same height.

Let me know how they make out. Bulbs sometimes follow a trend in the spring an summers. Good an bad.
I always thought they had to go thru a freeze to rebloom..????

I think these were kept outside in the garden area where it was cool.

fairly tough bulbs

I have a few tulip and hyacinth, I didn't get planted and they are on my outporch, not heated. I am going to soon put in soil in pots and water and just put out on my outside porch. I'm sure they should bloom. I also got my potting soil from Lowes, and its a froze block and have to put in basement to thaw for my wintersowing, need to get more so I guess I'll check out my Walmart too!!!!!!!
