found a Surprise in my garden this morning!

My brother-in-law rooted a couple of his houseplants for me, which I have outside. I do not know the names of either, they are in the same container, one is a purple color which to my surprise had a flower on it this morning, the other is like an ivy, has purple on the undersides of the leaves.

oh and the mimosa tree seeds are starting to sprout, even shaded I get a glare from close up shots.

Nice! Deeka is right .. that first one is Wandering Jew, I'm thinking the cultivar you have is Purple Heart .. the latin is Tradescantia pallida. I've got some and I love it .. it grows pretty much anywhere, full sun, deep shade .. it don't care!
