michigan....

Yesterday was beautiful, the day before that wasn't bad...then today its like a blizzard. Good thing though, the weather man said it will be in the 40s sometime this week and next. I sure hope so! Anyone want any snow?

Hi garden love,
I have a daughter who lives in northern michigan, she lives in Marquette. I live in southwestern michigan and our weather has been crazy this winter too. Snow one day then in the 40s in the next couple days. How long have you been in michigan?? I"ve been here for over 20 years and when I first came here the winters were winters. LOL It would snow at the beginning of winter and the snow would stay on the ground until spring. It sure isn't like that now, the last several winters have been so much milder than what we're used to here.

I've been here my whole life. 23 years. I agree about the milder winters. Last year at this time I was building a new raised bed at my old house and was growing cool season crops. When I was a kid there was always snow on Halloween and the last couple of years nothing... its crazy!
