Early spring flowers


Went around the New York Botanical Gardens to see what early spring flowers were out and about.
Here they are, any help with ID's is greatly appreciated.

OK Guys, here is a doozy!! I went to the New York Botanical Gardens to see what they had in bloom outdoors. Well, they had a lot. Hence forth, I shall never think of March as a flowerless month.[/FONT]
Viburnum x bodnantense



Stachyurus sp.



Scilla mischtschenkpana



Rhododenron sp. or hybrids



Prunus mume



Primula woronowii


Potentilla alba


Populus tremuloides



Willow tree


NOID Spring flowering tree



Another


NOID spring flowering bush -- anyone know this one?



Narcissus sp.


Narcissus asturiensis


Narcissus cyclamineus


Mahonia japonica



Lysichiton camtshatensis -- I don't know why I couldn't get a proper photo of this one (


Jasminum nudiflorum



Iris reticulata and some hybrids/cultivars



this one is called Frank Elder


Helleborushybrids. They had thousands of these in bloom all over

very beautiful Gardens. i would love to sink my hands in that dirt. Do they allow people to volunteer there?
