What's your favorite plant to grow?....succulents..hard to pick a favorite  4. One thing people don't know about me is.....i served 4 years in the Marine Corps got out a Cpl honorably. traveled and served in 24 countries around the world. 5. My hobbies are.....plants, reading, crafts 6. Show a peek of yourself as a child (optional)....no pic on my laptop of me 7. My favorite food is.....grilled cheese on rainy days 8. My zodiac sign is.....leo 9. One thing I really hate is.......dishonesty in people 10. One of my surprising talents is.....i know how to scuba dive 11. One thing I do everyday is.....tell Wyatt how much I LOVE him 12. If I had a million dollars, I'd.....pay off all my familys debts and travel for a while overseas 13. | 1. Why did you choose your screen name? What is your real name? (optional)............jnortner, my name is Jillian Nicole Ortner.... 2. Why did you join PS's?...........to learn from people who know sooo much more than me.  3. What's your favorite plant to grow?..............My Christmas Cactus, because even if I forget about it or go on vacation, it really doesn't seem to care. 4. One thing people don't know about me is...........I come from a Cattle Ranch in California, did 4 years in the Army, and moved to Iowa, before I met my husband, oh, and I asked him to marry me, after 6 weeks of dating, and he said yes. 5. My hobbies are.....wandering around outside, gardening, baking, cooking, reading, and if I watch tv, it's usually HGTV... 6. Show a peek of yourself as a child (optional)........................... 7. My favorite food is............Chinese Food!!!! Although German food & Greek Food, & Mexican Food all tie for a close 2nd. 8. My zodiac sign is................Gemini 9. One thing I really hate is..........people who decide they are better than me, without meeting me... really we're probably the same, but I'm prettier 10. One of my surprising talents is..........I don't really have any "talents", although, I do make a pretty amazing peach pie, w/o a recipee. 11. One thing I do everyday is..........have some sort of conversation with my dogs and chickens, and ofcourse, drive my husband crazy. 12. If I had a million dollars, I'd...............I might give some to Steve, to help buy another farm, but I'd use some $ to travel, and re-do my kitchen (we have carpet in there, and it's gross) 13. Succulents, Aroids 4. One thing people don't know about me is..... Hubby and I own an entertainment business doing karaoke and dj work 5. My hobbies are..... Plants, bird watching, singing, photography 6. Show a peek of yourself as a child (optional).... 7. My favorite food is..... Chinese or Mexican 8. My zodiac sign is..... Cancer 9. One thing I really hate is....... People who can't tell the truth and users 10. One of my surprising talents is..... i design logos (I am a graphic's designer) 11. | 1. Why did you choose your screen name? What is your real name? Lorax is a job description - I really do speak for trees. I'm actually called Beth. 2. Why did you join PS's? Steve (ExoticRainforest) invited me, and it looked like an awesome place so I stuck around. 3. What's your favorite plant to grow? That's a toughie. I guess whichever one is currently fruiting, although I'm inordinately fond of Aroids, Orchids, and Bananas. 4. One thing people don't know about me is... I can sing the entire Beatles catalog like Simon of Alvin and the Chipmunks. 5. My hobbies are... Gardening (of course), hiking, forest conservation, stamp collecting, and extreme kayaking. 6. Show a peek of yourself as a child (optional)... I really haven't got any! Based on other people's impressions of me at the time, I looked like a little boy. 7. My favorite food is... Seasonal! Currently, since we're in the run-up to Easter, it's Fanesca (a 7-grain squash soup with bacalao). In October, it will be Colada Morada (a purple fruit jam/drink), and in general it's Locro de Queso (a thick potato, squash, and cheese soup served with popcorn and avocado). 8. My zodiac sign is... Gemini (pretty obvious, no?) 9. One thing I really hate is... Abusers, controllers, and deceivers. Oooh, they make me so mad! But I do try not to actually hate them, since that means they're winning. I try to forgive them instead, because they're really really lost to be behaving that way. 10. One of my surprising talents is... Oh, I don't know. Let's go with cobbling. 11. One thing I do everyday is... Tell my parents and my plants that I love them. 12. If I had a million dollars, I'd... ...still eat Kraft dinner, I'd just eat more. With those fancy Dijon ketchups... But seriously, I'd buy 1000 or so hectares of virgin cloudforest and turn it into a preserve. 13. One place I'd love to go is... Tibet 14. One thing I would want people to say about me when I am 6 feet under is... I don't think I'll really care about this - after all, I'm 6 feet under! I'd like them to celebrate my life rather than mourn me - my funeral should be a party. 15. Two things I really love are... My plants, my country 16. One book I enjoyed was... In non-fiction, The Way of the Bodhisattva Warrior or Peace is Every Step are books I could read every day and learn something new from each time. In fiction, probably Stranger in a Strange Land, although Mefisto in Onyx and A Boy and His Dog run close seconds (but they're technically novellas, not full books, so I'm not sure if I should even count them...) Really, that's a tough question since there are literally hundreds if not thousands of contenders.... I read like it's going out of style.

Why did you join PS's?................................People, plants and knowledge.. turns out it's also super fun. 3. What's your favorite plant to grow?...................................right now I'm into climbers.. but I used to be into roses.. seems I like things that require special attention and time 4. (optional).............................I didn't choose it, my mama did and I'm too unoriginal to come up with anything else 2. Why did you join PS's?................................Becauase I'm a Gardenaholic and thought it was the best way to get my greedy little grubs on new and unusual plants and flowers. 3. What's your favorite plant to grow?...................................anything that vines and produces gorgeous flowers. 4. One thing people don't know about me is.................................ok shush the gardenaholic thing was a secret. 5. My hobbies are.....Gardening, Cooking, Crafting 6. Why did you join PS's? becasue i love plants and i like to read the advice on how to take care of them better. im always learning something new. 3. What's your favorite plant to grow? calla lilies. they are my favorite flower and they smell good. 4. One thing people don't know about me is that i can sing... well 5. My hobbies are drawing, acting, gardening, and singing writing poems. 6. My favorite food is japanese food and mexican food 7. My zodiac sign is gemini 8.
