Ok, in the end, the fruits will ripen red, like mostly all peppers do.

But my marble variety will produce fruits that ripen through many shades and colors before reaching the final stage of red. Most of the young fruits start out white or purplish...then they get yellow and orange, and then finally red...but all shades in between too and all at different times.

It's a very colorful variety and its needless to say that I will eventually share it with you both.

Here's another shot I just took of one of my pretty marbles...

In the end, they don't get very big...they're 1" little balls...but they pack a wallop and they taste great.

So who's growing hot peppers this winter and if so, what types?

Check out how many more fruits are on "little blue" today...

And "hot marble" is loading up too....

Let the color show begin!

My "little blue" is starting to turn! And all at different times, so there will be many different colors very shortly. Here's what's starting to happen...

Thought you guys might like to see the stages of ripening.

Yes Nerd...they're so bright and cheerful. Now, an orange stage has been reached. Here they are tonight...

This is the perfect variety to grow (little blue) if you're looking for a tiny pepper plant that won't take up too much room but will still give you some great tasting hot little fruits. This variety has it all. I've been growing it for years now and it's definitely on my list of favorites.

They would be gorgeous in a stir fry or a pepper salad.

Oh and I should also show my "hot marble" today too. It's packing on little marbles like crazy!

I've got 8-10 little plants in a four inch pot! I should have done the same with my little blue...but only grew one plant in the pot. "Hot Marble" also turns many colors at different times.
