WinkThank you, Raccoon.

I'm really getting anxious for my seed-grown "Hot Marble" plants to bud. Here they are tonight....

I'm enjoying how blue the leaves are getting.

This is a hot pepper thread so they're hot!

Those are my "black pearls" but they're edible.

Purple Flash fruits are actually half the size of black pearl and the foliage is more colorful. Black Pearl is one of my favorite varieties for ornamental beauty.

In fact some people just grow hot peppers plants for their charming & unique beauty...even if they don't eat them.

The short little types are great in planter pots, for added interested, color, & appeal.

Half the size then they must really be tiny, as the BPP are about the size of a thumbnail. They are loaded with seeds more so than fruit.

Compare my "Little Blue" (left) & my "Hot Marble" (right) today. Similar but different....

Lots of buds on my "Little Blue"...

The hot marbles leaves appear to be a tad darker then the little blue. And it also seems to be a bit bushier.

Exactly, Nerd! The little blue is more of a trailing spreader but the hot marble is more upright and bushy. Both are tiny though. There is only one little blue in the pot...but many hot marble plants in the other.

Yup, your so-called pepper turned out to be an OSU Blue tomato! How you can tell the difference is that peppers do not have fuzzy hairs on their stems but tomato seedlings do.

I have tried to grow from store bought peppers. They would grow but never bear fruit as they are sterile.
