They sure look yummy, I've never had them. If they are anything like blackberrys or raspberrys I would love them. Uhm mouths waterin' already.

looks great bali. I planted 4 currents started from cuttings last fall, no berries this year but hoping for next year. Put in a elderberry from cutting same time and its looking great about to bloom.

They look very nice! I can relate to being too lazy to pick in the heat to. I had a bumper crop of bluberries this year. A few freinds and family picked some and a small amount by me. The rest are still hanging and fallin off... .

OH! 55 years ago in central Oklahoma we had black currants. Mom got the plants from Grandpa. Ours were all sizes. Do you ever fix a Currant Cobbler?
Yes, heat is oppressive now. But I am too far from Pennsylvania to help out! (ha, ha)
Do the Red grow from seed? If so, would like a couple to plant. Please advise. Thanks.

Well I don't want to cause trouble here BUT how are we to know that you REALLY make the best jelly???!!!! I mean you could be making that up. Only way to REALLY know is to do a scientific test!!! The most scientifically accurate way to test this is known as "SMSSICTI"
I'm sure other's here will want to participate in this test too!!!!

SMSSICTI = Send Me Some So I Can Taste It
