I've now got some "Red Romaine" on the go. The seeds germinated a few days ago.

Also, I recently ordered "outREDgeous" seeds, another beautiful red leaf variety, and I'll be sowing some when they arrive.

What I like best is that I can grow my veggies organically but not have to pay a huge organic price!

I mostly feed with blood and bonemeal but I also use my water-soluble organic DNF (Dutch Nutrient Formula) as well....amazing stuff.

Looking very forward to having an indoor veggie garden again this winter. It'll be way cool.

Sounds great, Raccoon! You're gonna love it.

I will send you seeds for some small dwarf tomato varieties that should do well for you.

You're welcome, Raccoon.

I've put a blood and bonemeal treat at the bottoms of all my tomato containers so the seedlings will take off like crazy once the roots hit the bottom. Also been adding eggshells to all of my containers every few days when I eat eggs.

I think it was Gardennerd who mentioned putting sugar into the bottoms of your tomato pots? I'm gonna do this when I transplant them into their home pots in a couple weeks. Sounds like fun and a great way to get added sweetness.

Can I use brown sugar?

My "black beauty" eggplant is getting huge!

I should take a shot of it tomorrow.
