TalkingFinally got my tomatoes planted!

Well the rains finally stopped - I got my yard-boy (my son) outside with the roto-tiller and got the soil loosened to finally plant the heirloom tomato plants I got weeks ago! I only hope that the bunnies don't find them tasty!!!!

Here's MY motto:

"If the bunnies find my garden tasty, I'll find a bunny tasty."

I love rabbit!

Now I'm hungry. I haven't had rabbit in such a long time.

I got my veggies finally planted to night too.
Not likely the bunnies will come close enough to my veggies - containers this year close to the house. We'll see how they do.

I'm in the middle of suburbia and there is a family of bunnies nesting somewhere nearby. The daddy and mommie and baby bunnies have all been visiting our back yard periodically. I think they like it because it's one of the few yards in our neighborhood that doesn't have any dogs. They've been pretty good about just eating the grass so far.

Congrats on your tomatoes gardeningmom! There's nothing quite like a fresh, homegrown tomato!

My tomatoes are doing well too. I've also used the first bit of my Sweet Basil tonight in a batch of Spaghetti. Mmmmm. I put a bit of my Sage in as well. It was SOO good.

My parsley is almost ready to transplant. My Okra and Cucumbers are finally flowering. Won't be long on them now.

I just pulled the rest of my Radish crop. My mother went nuts over them. lol

I just love this. Everyday I go out and do SOMETHING in my gardens. Pretty soon I'll be the envy of my neighborhood. WOOHOO!!

Sorry, went off on a little rant about my own garden. Congrats Gardeningmom!! In a little while you'll have awesome fresh tomatoes. It's great to eat something you grow yourself! I just love it!
