Mixed lettuces from my garden
add one grated carrot
a gypsy green pepper when in season
and top it with a dollop of potato salad. That's all.

I like everything in the garden in my salad. The more the better. I go for iceburg lettuce, romaine, spinach, onion, carrot, cucumber, pepper, broccoli, cauliflower, red cabbage, onion, and shredded cheese. Sometimes bits of grilled chicken or beef kabobs on top with really good ranch dressing.

Potato salad on top? Whatever makes ya happy! (I never understood people mixing cottage cheese with their fruit either).

I have never heard of a blended salad either, so I will be waiting to find out with bali.

eeewww. I just can't handle it.
Also, people who put ketchup on scrambled eggs.
I guess it's each person's individuality. I love fried potatoes and eggs together with some onion, green pepper, and melted mozzarella or provolone topped with mayonnaise. So who am I to call the kettle black?

Cicindy...I can't do ketchup on eggs, either! I completely switched my family to baby spinach from iceberg many years ago due to the fact that iceberg has no nutritional value, and spinach is so good for you, high in iron, etc...my youngest is 8, and he has eaten no other salads, or greens on sandwiches, etc. He loves it!! One of my favorites is just to slice fresh tomato, cucumber, and mozza, and eat with a side of creamy french dressing to lightly dip it in....it's a whole meal!! Now I am hungry, guys!

RR...my favorite that I have most of the time is Romaine Lettece, with shivers of almonds, jalapelio's.. with few bacon bits and ranch dressing ( strange I can't eat onion or garlic...but the peppers don't bother me!)!

I absolutely love cottage cheese with a dash of cinnamon on top... Eat this every night! This has been on of the things I started eating as I changed my way of eating...and lost several pounds....( Like 30 something...YEA!) PTL!
