CoolRaspberry jam


Whoopie
I just yanked out 1 pkge of Raspberrys which I froze this summer, an Raspberry Jam is on the stove. PS in the jars now.

Oh how I love thee.LET ME COUNT THE WAYS..........

If you you have a slight bitter berry like raspberry it will jell easily.

Sweeter berries like strawberry may need a slice of green apple in them to make it jell.......

I never buy jelly..

yes i really like it and also strawberry cherry damson plum wild cherry and apricot are all very good also

Apricot is a winner too.

But I don't raise those here.. I try to live off my land.

I also make red currant and grape.........

Put them in the freezer till needed......Helps the pocket book..

Yes I tried an tried an tried. Elderberry..That one never worked for me.

i make it they grow everywhere around here i will see if i have some left i make it all the time and apple butter and apple jelly with red hots

Very good your a dandy person for doing the goodies.
Instead of apple butter , I just put apple sauce on my bread.LOL

Love apple butter , not wild of the jelly.


Do you bake bread too? I do but not as often as I should.

yes i do that to bake a lot of cakes pies cookies and a lot of good things do not buy much of that either as it is a lot cheaper to make homemade one year i made over 100 pints of apple butter and a few batches of apple jelly and alot of elderberry jelly
