punch bowl cake

If your having a gathering at Thanksgiving or Christmas that's the time to make this. Theres alot of it and just a few people will not get it all eaten before it goes bad.

Punch Bowl Cake

Ingredients:

Yellow cake mix
1 large or 2 small chocolate pudding
1 large or 2 small vanilla pudding.
cool whip
bananas
vanilla wafers
2 cans cherry pie filling
2 cans blueberry pie filling
marichino sp?? cherries
2 cans crushed pineapple
coconut optional
slivered almonds optional

bake the cake mix and cool. Once cooled break it up into small pieces.
Make the puddings and cool in the refridgerator.
Cut the bananas into pieces.
Drain the crushed pineapple.

Use a punchbowl or any other round clear glass bowl.

Put half of the broken up cake in the bottom of the bowl. Add a layer of chocolate pudding, using only half of it. Add a layer of vanilla pudding, again using only half. Add a layer of the cut up bananas. Add a layer of one can of cherry pie filling. Add a layer of one can of blueberry pie filling. Add a layer of one can of crushed pineapple, drained. Add a layer of cool whip. Repeat this until the cake reaches the top of the b owl. You can top it off with the marsch. cherries, coconut, and slivered almonds. But those are all optional.

This cake is beautiful before anyone digs into it because you can see all the different colors and layers and its very pleasing to the eye. When you dig into it, it starts looking like mush but still tastes awesome!! This is one of my family's favorites!!
