My birthday cake

So lucky me got to spend her birthday buying the last things for her birthday cake so that ment dollar store (shot glass bases work great for making roses on!) aldis then the grocer and back to aldis before going home in total I spent like 13 bucks but i think it was worth it

The cake is a chocolate coffe cake that has a little rum extract in it it's a very dark/dry cake (well it did say to use a smaller pan) the orange frosting is cream cheese the rest is buttercream

How's it look?

For the cake itself I swapped sugar for about under half truvia flour was oat wheat and almond when you have the cake with the frosting it's stunning! Tho I still think it should have been taller a cake it's still a good cake (only my like 3rd time doing that)

My mom dosent cook and uncle only eats lettuce so (plus I kinda like baking) I don't really mind then I can try to make it look and taste how I want it to

As for birthday I got 2 orchids (that I have no clue on care pic on that thread) also got a 15 buck starbucks card (and Starbucks sent me a 5 buck card) a 25 buck olive garden card a 25 buck for a garden place I like never go to (so I got 3 indoor plants a pair of pots --have pics of those around--also got a blueberry plant and grape plant and an apple mint and I *still* have like 2 bucks left!) So I think apart from mom saying she wanted to get me stuff that *she* wanted it was pretty good if yall like I can post pics of them here too?

Thankies tho y'all

Actually yea everything but orchids aloes and goji are outside the red/white and cauldron are coming inside as are many cuttings of some of the stuff (oh! Lol the figs coming in too there in pots like the goji) so I will have a bit to care for over the winter as well but I *should* have enough to plant next year then as well with my self-watering tray

Im mainly an outdoor gardener tho but I should have atleast something going on inside too and dec/jan I get the urge to plant seeds but nothing's out at the stores by then so lol I got extra pots and dirt this year and hopefully I'll be ready when I get the urge

The 2 lights are daylight spectrum the one closest the orchids/aloes is a 100 watt cfl (I love them) the outher is a 60 watt incandescent I know I need to get another cfl but at 5 bucks it's a little up there when they only last like 3 years (on for 16 hours a day every day) so till the one I have blows (as that's a 40 watt fixture) I'm ok with this setup lol

The north side of the house is the living room/foyer and easily the naturally brightest room in the house it will be a little tricky getting a table right next to one lol but there's one inside (that I'm gonna put seeds in the cups that are on it lol)
