Sure thing hbl and gardennerd!
Raccoon i do this every summer. Living on our farm most of the food we eat comes from our farm. Even our meat comes from our farm.
Gardennerd, ya just mix them and put them in the jars and process them in a pressure canner for the length of time to process beans and youre set.

Thanks everyone. Its worth it when you taste what you have done. I put 8 dozen ears of corn, 1 gallon of rhubarb, and 1 gallon of blackberries in the freezer saturday. Today im doing green beans and beets. Tomorrow i will be doing tomatoes and my homemade salsa.this month we are putting one of our hogs in the freezer. When i am all done i will post a picture of our huge pantry room. We have all the canned food, the freezer, and our onions hanging up. when things slow down a bit, im gonna make a strawberry rhubarb pie dor my hunny and make jelly with the blackberries. We have two cabinets in the pantry room too. One is full of pickles and the other is full of jellies. All homemade, the way it should be.
