I fix soupy taters. Ya know, sliced taters boiled with salt, butter and pepper. Make a big ole cake of cornbread to go with it. A bowl of taters with corn bread crumbled into it is awesome! Along with a bowl of pinto's or white beans, onion slices and hot peppers. Fresh tomato. Fried okra to round it out and rhubarb pie for desert.

This was just about a typical dinner (lunch) at our house and left overs for desert.

Yeah I agree Sherie. I love biscuits too, but I have to limit my carbs to try to keep my sugar in control. So I don't eat as much bread as I used too.

Ya ever had cornbread and molasses? Oh my, its terrific. Well, molasses on biscuits is awesome to, lol. Homemade molasses are the best. There's still some folks around here that make molasses. They are way better than anything you can get in the store.

Gosh you sound like a terrific cook...
Rhubarb pie I used to make an the stuff died out.. Rhubarb..

Corn bread is yummy too.....

Throw some jelly on corn bread an you will love it .

I made blueberry jam the other day an love it .
I never did that before.. Always saved it for pies.

Make strawberry, raspberry, currant , grape, an never buy jelly..
Sometime apricot for cookies.
