SmileI just made potato soup.2014


Potato Soup is on the menu today.


I just made it out of my home grown, Potatoes, carrots, celery,Onion..Isnt gardening awesome..
Love home made.

Any one else make tator soup? Easy n nourishing.

My first try..
Sis in law brought some an I was hooked.

Got the recipe on line an it was easy with my own veggies I have frozen for Winter provisions.......

Gardening is Awesome.

yes gardening is awesome and more healthful than store boughten with all there chemicals and preservatives

I agree..............100%

Kids today think veggies come out of a can only, with lots of salt.. MY goodness the salt in the food today?

You need to put it in baking stuff to use as a preservative......

I am a salt lover. But try not to act that part.LOL

yeah i put it in recipes for cookies and cakes but just everyday use i do not husband is suppose to be on a low sodium diet and he adds salt to everything but cottage cheese which he puts sugar on

Sugar on cottage cheese?

MIne quit salt for years not on the table at all.
About 2 years before he died he used salt daily. Bacon an eggs an beef every supper....
A piece about as large as a dinner plate.. Artery cloggers

Sounds yummy, and I bet full of nourishment. My mom used to make home made tator soup, and hers had eggs in it that made lil noodles in soup. So yummy. TFS, might just have to make a big ol pot myself.

Ever try tortillia soup?

Never had it with eggs.

No never had Tortilla soup.......I also make chicken, cabbage soup, red beet,beef.

Chicken is a must in sicky weather.........
