Oooh - peppermint bark is delicious! My favorite type has a layer of dark chocolate on bottom, then a layer of white chocolate on top with crushed peppermints sprinkled over the top of that. I've never made it myself but looking at recipes online, it seems pretty simple to make.

Just catching up on this one!!! Oh my goodness, there are so many to try!! I'm all over Vivey's Pumpkin Pie with Maple Syrup!!

RC, your caramel bars and almond roca sound sooooo good too.
Do tell what is "Nuts and Bolts"...lol...sounds interesting to say the least
So glad you like the caramel apple pie too.

Sherie, the peppermint bark you speak of is absolute delicious...and the best part, no one else in the house likes it!!!
Gonna wait on Bali to see if she tries making her own and how it comes out!

Well, this isn't a recipe, lol. Yall know the lighted ceramic Christmas trees? I love them! I managed to get one the other day for to bucks. Its not perfect, there is a piece knocked out of the base but where I have it sitting you can't tell the it.
If anyone has one that they are wanting to get rid of I would love to have it. I'll gladly do a trade for one or pay postage and handling. Just pm me.
I wish my phone was compatible with PS so I could show it to you.

Hi Tess, We have two of them. One is quite large and a small one (maybe 9").
My grandmother made them for us along time ago. The small one may not be what you are looking for, but if it is. Let me know.
